InsureMe Houston - Account Executive


Our account executives work individually or in a team to sell bundles of insurance.

Whether home, auto and life to a family of four or expanded offerings to commercial accounts -- our account executives focus on the big picture of protecting people and their assets.

Job responsibilities would include:
  • Become a true consultative sales person. Your job would not be to provide phone quotes or to service customer issues; instead, you will focus on providing value for your clients and to ensure they are adequately protected.
  • Meet with business owners to learn about their companies and their vision for the future. Then, you will be charged with coming up with a detailed proposal to cover all of their insurance needs - both professional and personal.
  • Develop strong relationships with CPAs, Mortgage Brokers, Loan Officers, Real Estate Agents and Title Companies to offer protection for their prospective new clients as well as their existing client base.
  • Maintain licensing in one or more insurance fields. If an employee is licensed in P&C or life and health but not the other, they will be able to work with another account executive in order to provide 'the total package.'
  • Get in front of five or more people a day. Insurance is a numbers game and there are plenty of people that are looking for value from their insurance dollar.
This is not a sales job. You will act as an insurance consultant. And you won't be paid like a salesman, either. Because of your product knowledge, your ability to tailor solutions for individual clients and your consultative sales approach, you'll be paid like a true consultant.

Candidates are paid commission as well as a percentage of renewal income. All employees are eligible for bonus pay and profit sharing as well.

Candidate must pass state Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health licensing exam before anticipated start date.
